The Earth Science program at College of the Redwoods includes courses in geology, geography, meteorology, and oceanography. Most of these courses fulfill requirements within College of the Redwood's general education curriculum and fulfill physical science general education requirements at state and regional universities. Many of these courses also fulfill requirements within the AA - Science and AA - Science Exploration degrees. Earth Science Major Transfer Preparation
The following link is a brochure that describes the appropriate course sequences to successfully prepare and transfer to a university as a science major. Students are encouraged to review this information with a science faculty member, advisor, and/or counselor to assure a successful and efficient transfer to the university level. Note that following course numbering change related to the mathematics requirements described in this brochure: Math 106 (Elementary Algebra) has been renumbered as Math 380.
